The Cataraqui Trail - Passing right through Harrowsmith, this four season trail for hikers, cyclists, equestrians, snowmobilers, and cross-country skiers follows the former Canadian National Railway line. No motorized vehicles allowed, except snowmobilers with a trail permit.

Frontenac Provincial Park - open year-round, with daily programming, hiking trails, canoe routes and 48 campsites.

Gould Lake Conservation Area - excellent wildlife habitat and many opportunities for nature appreciation and recreation in all seasons.

Harris Park, Perth Rd. Village - A smaller quiet park with grassed fields suitable for picnics, socials, informal sports. Stroll, or walk your dog on the wooded trails.

The Point, Sydenham - A recreation area on the shore of Sydenham Lake. Facilities for football, baseball, soccer and track events, as well as swimming, canoeing and kayaking. Boat access.
